I was looking for some new artwork for our master bedroom, and the colors in the Nocturne Sunset Soirée caught my eye. The pictures are even more vivid and beautiful in person, exactly what I was looking for. They were framed very well and easy to hang, I had them up on the wall the day they arrived. Extremely happy with my purchase!
The frame itself looks well made and the finish is nice. The opaque white is casual and great texture. The cardboard back folded a bit when I tried to remove it from the frame to insert the print, but it still is keeping the print in position.
Very impressed with the quality of this frame; well constructed and sturdy. It was well packed and arrived timely and in good condition.
This review is for all three frames that I ordered, not just this one. The frames themselves are nice enough. The mounting hardware that came on two of the three frames is a bit crooked, but I'll hang them from wire so it shouldn't be an issue, though they only gave me one spool of wire. Might have to run to hardware store to buy more hanging wire to hang all three frames I ordered. Also, the backing seems to just be cut down cardboard boxes versus the foamcore you usually get from any of these framing companies. Two of the pieces of cardboard are fine, but one seems to be cut from a fold of a box and is bent in half and flimsy and if the piece you're mounting has any opacity, instead of a white backing, it's the brown cardboard. These aren't really huge issues, but compared to American Frame (which I've ordered from several times) the overall quality is a bit underwhelming.
The mahogany picture frame was of good quality and fits well with my decor.
